Stephen O’Malley.

Stephen is a Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychology Researcher. Stephen has completed a 4 -year APS accredited degree in Psychology from the University of Newcastle, a DipThMin, and coursework of a D. Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) to Master’s Level, and has additionally undertaken Masters studies in Organisational and Sport Psychology at UNSW.

His experience includes working as a Health Professional in both private and public sector’s for over 30 years. He is also a Board Approved Supervisor.

Stephen has conducted doctoral research in neuropsychological test development, including the R-NHAIS. His work spans TBI, hydrocephalus, dyscalculia, and developmental language disorders, with a focus on evidence-based rehabilitation and diagnostic formulation.

​Stephen’s therapeutic modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , Solution Focused Interventions, Meta- Cognitive therapies, Neuropsychotherapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) from the Annandale School Perspective. Stephen was first trained at the Annandale School of Psychotherapy in 1996 and engages in ongoing therapy training there each year.

He conducts cognitive assessments, as well as ADHD and ASD assessments, for which he has two years of specialized training.
