Learning Difficulties
We assess Cognition, or intellectual ability using the gold standard Wechsler scales. For very young children the Standford-Binet (Early), for older children the WISC- V, and for Adults the WAIS- IV. These tests look at verbal and non-verbal skills, problem solving, speed of processing, and working memory.
Stephen has extensive experience conducting decision-making capacity assessments and preparing reports for Medical decision’s and Guardianship Tribunals.
He offer’s independent, evidence-based decision-making capacity assessments for civil matters, informed by current ethical standards and contemporary training. Assessments focus on functional capacity, clear clinical reasoning, and practical reporting suitable for medical and tribunal contexts.
